ADVANTAGES OF LIVE-IN CARE

Our live-in care provides personalised care that is tailored to your loved one’s individual requirements. Unlike other types of care, live-in carers are completely concerned with your loved one’s well-being, offering one-on-one attention and support.
Another significant advantage of live-in care is companionship.

Carers may develop into valued friends and confidantes, providing emotional support and a listening ear. This is particularly crucial for elderly people who may feel alone or lonely.

Live-in care also encourages independence by enabling your loved one to keep up with their daily routines and activities in the comfort of their own home. This may result in a higher quality of life and general well-being.

In comparison to those in nursing homes or assisted living facilities, individuals who get live-in care have lower rates of depression, improved physical health, and a longer lifespan.

From Hospital To Home

Being admitted to the hospital may be a difficult experience, and frequently, returning to the comfort of your own home is a major goal during recuperation.

Increased care demands, on the other hand, might make it difficult to transition home and may require placement in a nursing or residential home.

Post-discharge care is essential for ensuring that patients properly recover after being released from the hospital. Many patients have problems and are at risk of readmission if they do not get competent care.

According to research, up to 20% of senior patients are readmitted within 30 days after release, and up to 50% are readmitted within 6 months. This strains not just the healthcare system but also the patient and their family.

Our Hospital to Home service offers a solution, allowing you to return home following your hospital stay.
Our service is intended to simplify your transition back into your home by providing essential support and care throughout your recovery time.

As part of our Hospital to Home service, our team can offer a healthcare assistant or support worker to fit your particular requirements, whether you need a high degree of care or simply a little help with everyday routines.

Providing a Smooth Transition

Moving patients from the hospital to home care may be a tough and time-consuming procedure. However, with the correct tactics and support, a seamless transition that improves patient outcomes and quality of life is feasible.

We prioritise post-discharge care at Executive Health Ltd. We address typical issues such as medication administration, communication, and carer fatigue.

We have a role to play as carers, healthcare professionals, and community members in ensuring that our loved ones get the best possible care throughout this vital transition.

Night Care

We recognise the significance of a good night’s sleep for both physical and mental health. Inadequate sleep may have an influence on everyday activities and increase the need for care. Our night care service is intended to provide essential assistance and care throughout the night, resulting in a restful night’s sleep and enhanced daytime functioning.

Poor sleep, according to research, may cause shakiness, disorientation, and isolation throughout the day, affecting one’s ability to communicate with loved ones and participate in social activities

Individuals may have peace of mind knowing that they will get the assistance they need to obtain a good night’s sleep and wake up feeling refreshed if they use our nightcare service.

Our nightcare team is made up of highly competent healthcare professionals who have been trained to offer personalised care to match the requirements of each client. Our night care service is personalised to give essential support, whether it be medication assistance, personal care, or just being there for company and reassurance.

We recognise that each individual’s needs are distinct, and our nightcare service is meant to be flexible and adaptive to changing needs. Our staff is committed to providing clients with the care they need throughout the night, fostering a higher quality of life and enhanced independence.

How we provide night care

Sleeping night care

A carer will sleep in your house, reducing anxiety about being alone at night. The carer will be given a room to sleep in for 8 hours and will be accessible to help your loved one when they need care and assistance. A sleeping nightcarer is normally only permitted to wake up twice each night. However, this may be changed to suit your requirements.

A sitting service

This is for primary care providers who need a break throughout the night. A carer would be available for an agreed-upon period of time.

Waking night care

A care provider is on call for at least 10 hours. They won’t need a room since they won’t be sleeping. If your loved one requires care numerous times throughout the night, this is an excellent alternative.

HOLIDAY CARE

Although the holiday season is frequently associated with pleasure and celebration, it can also be a painful and lonely time for many. While we meet with our loved ones to exchange presents and enjoy meals, there are innumerable individuals who are lonely and alone, with no one to turn to.

At Executive Health Limited, we realise the value of taking a vacation to recharge, and even if you need frequent care, you shouldn’t have to forego a holiday. Our holiday care service gives you the freedom to take your child with you wherever you go in the UK.

Our holiday care service is intended for individuals who are unable to travel due to their care requirements. As a consequence, they often miss out on much-needed breaks. Our staff can supply you with a health care assistant or support worker to join you on your UK holiday and help you with everyday duties.

This may be organised for you alone or in conjunction with family and friends. You and your loved ones may relax and enjoy your holiday while getting the required personal attention and support with the assistance of our experienced carers.

Our service is customised to your specific care needs. We can provide comprehensive medical care, personal care, and social companionship. We take pleasure in offering high-quality care services and are convinced that we can satisfy your requirements.

Benefits of our Holiday Care

Our Holiday care offers a variety of advantages that may significantly enhance their quality of life. One of the most significant advantages is that it helps overcome loneliness and isolation. According to research, social connection may benefit both physical and mental health. Holiday care offers possibilities for social contact as well as mental and physical stimulation.

Many carers provide activities like games, crafts, and fitness courses to keep the mind and body busy. This has been shown to increase cognitive performance, lessen the risk of depression, and even lower the risk of certain health issues.

PALLIATIVE CARE

When you have a life-threatening disease, it may be a difficult time for you and your loved ones. Our Palliative Care at Home service seeks to support you through this difficult time by making life more pleasant for everyone concerned.

Our Palliative Care at Home services provide support to individuals who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening disease and want to stay in their own homes. This service is available at all phases of sickness, including diagnosis, treatment, cure, death, and mourning.

The primary goal of our Palliative Care at Home service is to improve your and your family’s quality of life. We recognise that your family and friends may be concerned about your situation, and it may be difficult for you to communicate your concerns for fear of offending them.

We can assist you and your loved ones in discussing your thoughts and providing further support. In addition, we may provide support during times of grief.

We guarantee that you are treated as an individual with dignity and respect as part of our compassionate Palliative Care at Home service. We will create a tailored care plan for you based on your requirements, preferences, and choices. We also want to guarantee continuity of care; therefore, we only assign a limited number of carers to you who get to know your personality and preferences.

We provide several types of palliative care.

Visiting palliative car

A carer will visit at the appropriate times to help with difficult requirements such as tracheostomy care.

Live-in palliative car

This is round-the-clock care for the individual in need and their family. We provide social, nurse-led, and companionship assistance.

RESPITE CARE

In your absence, our Respite Care ensures that your loved one’s care and support requirements are addressed. This is less disruptive than placing your loved one in temporary residential care since routines may continue and your loved one can stay in familiar surroundings with their local support system.

Respite carers realise that bringing someone else into your home may be a difficult choice, and they appreciate the need to organise this temporary care around your requirements with the least interruption.

Respite Care may range from a few days to many weeks, depending on your specific requirements. Of course, respite care isn’t only for when you need a break; it may also be offered in an emergency if you get sick or need to travel to the hospital on short notice. Respite Care is also useful if you and your loved one wish to experiment with home care for a short period of time to see whether it works for you.

Like our other care services, respite care may provide support for a variety of ailments such as Alzheimer’s, Multiple Sclerosis, Strokes, Cancer, and others. We can assist you in locating temporary live-in or part-time respite care. This has the added advantage of being less expensive than residential care and allowing your loved one to remain in their own home.

How we provide respite care

1. Respite care visits

This is comparable to domiciliary care. A care provider will come to your loved one many times a day to support them with various duties like cleaning, food preparation, and medication reminders.

2. Live-in respite care

This is when a caretaker moves in for the length of the requirement and is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week, to help your loved one with their care needs. It implies less disturbance to your loved one’s care routines and is better suited to more complicated requirements.

3. Holiday respite care

Carers may help your loved one throughout the holidays. We can help you plan your trip and activities.

SOCIAL COMPANIONSHIP

The sense of security and comfort we experience in our own house is unparalleled. It is a haven where we can unwind and enjoy the things we adore. However, as we age or family members leave, our homes might grow quieter, making it difficult to obtain support when we need it the most.

We realise the value of companionship and support, particularly for seniors who want to live independently, at Executive Health Limited. Our Social Companionship service offers the help of a healthcare assistant or support worker who is adapted to your specific requirements and preferences.

Our service is intended to provide comfort to people who need sporadic support with everyday jobs, domestic chores, or social engagements. We understand that family members may not always be available to visit on a regular basis, and our service may offer them peace of mind in knowing that their loved ones are getting the care they need.

To ensure that you feel comfortable and safe, our highly skilled and empathetic carers are carefully matched to your personality and preferences. With home chores and social activities, they provide companionship, discussion, and support. We believe in adaptable care and will tailor our services to your evolving requirements.

We prioritise your comfort and happiness, and we will arrange for you to see your carer before the service begins so you can feel confident and satisfied with your care plan. You may continue to enjoy the comfort and freedom of your own home while receiving the additional support and companionship you deserve with our Social Companionship service.
